Extruded aluminum channels, with a polybond insert, are designed to enclose the sides of the shadeband to significantly reduce light seepage between the shadeband and the wall or mullion, or between shadebands on a multibanded shade. There are two types of channel, single and double channels. Single channels are designed for use with the drive or idle-end brackets of a single and multibanded shade. Double Channels are designed for use with center support brackets, between shade bands on a multibanded shade. Double Channels are also used with back-to-back drive and idle-end brackets, between two different multibanded shades.
