Mecho partners with Legrand Wattstopper to Deliver Seamless Shade Control and Shading Integration

October 28, 2025

Legrand®, a global leader in electrical and digital building infrastructures has announced a new integration between its Wattstopper® lighting control systems and Mecho motorized and automated shades. This collaboration creates a streamlined approach for building owners, designers, and integrators to combine advanced lighting and shading solutions, driving greater energy efficiency, comfort, and occupant control.

Through a simple dry contact connection, Wattstopper now easily and reliably controls Mecho’s iQ2-AC and -DC motors. This direct compatibility allows for a straightforward, robust integration, between Wattstopper PLUS or DLM and Mecho’s iQ2+ Single Motor Splitter. Users can operate shades with Wattstopper Plus GreenBus Wallstations or DLM Standard Switches, bringing a unified shade control experience to commercial spaces.

The integration is designed for ease of deployment and flexibility:

  • Reliable Performance – Direct dry contact compatibility ensures seamless communication with Mecho iQ2 motors.
  • Simplified Control – One-way integration with intuitive Wattstopper DLM controls provides straightforward shade operation.
  • Design Flexibility – Multiple motor grouping options and programmable button personalities support diverse space configurations.
  • Unified Experience – Lighting and shading controls now work side-by-side, enhancing occupant comfort and energy efficiency.

The Wattstopper–Mecho integration is available immediately and supported through standard programming tools and documentation from both companies.
